The pre-patinated corrugated steel is deeply scarred with rust from decades of exposure on an agricultural barn. Reclaimed for this cabin, the reddish hues of the cladding blend in with a woodland environment.

Designed as a mobile structure, the large front doors and raised deck allow for the single room to become a part of the landscape. Open, the space is part of the landscape. Closed, the cabin becomes a private warm refuge.
